[00:01:46] So the only people, the chandeliers over the audience seats, were not. It was pitch black in there. I turned a pass behind the cyclorama and about a quarter of the way through. I hear to the other side, spotted the wagon, and began to unbury it from the heaps of children's costumes on top of it. Every one of my senses was on high alert, and I could see clearly in my peripheral vision that the stage was

[00:04:20] empty. Then, from a creepy dark little bathroom we tell me, oh, I got rid of most of them. Most of them? She explained that there were multiple spirits in the building, but that there were only

[00:05:43] two now.

[00:05:44] We'll start with Paul. Now, my nemesis, the one under the stage, a proper poltergeist, it was known for its phantom footsteps. From the context of what other people experienced, this would be the spirit that I nine without trying, and when I got into high school, I began intentionally trying to do this again. I'm going to share two dreams that haven't left me, one from my childhood and the other from when I was about 15.

[00:08:21] The first happened while I was spending the night

[00:08:24] at my grandma's house when I was six or seven. couch began to morph and their faces turned saggy and grotesque. Beginning to panic, I decided that I did not like this dream and I wanted to wake myself up. This was a thing I used to be able to do, probably because of how often I had nightmares, but in this dream I couldn't.

[00:09:41] I strained and pushed at some muscle to paranormal stuff that I definitely wouldn't mess with now, and I'm honestly surprised that I didn't come out of that phase in my life with some sort of dark attachment. I wrote this down in a dream journal that I kept at the time. If I hadn't, I definitely would have forgotten all about it.

[00:11:00] The dream began relatively normally.

[00:11:03] I was in my mom's old trailer park it were supposed to be guarding the building. Think Falcor from the never-ending story except he had mange and he looked more

[00:12:20] wolfish. I sneaked past this sleeping monster and at me. I told him, we're all in trouble, we need to leave." His something like one of the twin monsters, a rolling mass of flesh. It had this fat deformed face that could unhinge its jaw. This mangled creature locked eyes with me and began charging.

[00:15:01] It would make sense if this was the part of the dream where I wake up, but I don't. The New Year is all about new beginnings and fresh starts.

To the point I became worried about my pet's safety and did the only thing I could think to do, which was to take my gecko to my car and crank the heater up. Over the next twenty minutes, the sound got progressively closer and closer to the car, until it sounded like it was circling me. I can still hear this sound in my mind, clear as day, even though this happened several

[00:19:00] years ago, and I know what animals we was an animal, there was something severely wrong with it. Be it an injury or a birth defect that would probably affect its quality of life, and I wanted to be able to let animal control know so they could find it or put it out of its misery if necessary, since it was clearly 30 degrees outside and far enough out of everyone's way. I doubt anyone would be hanging out there, let alone hanging out there for hours, and wearing what appeared to be animal skin over their head. If it wasn't a person, based on the location and how the thing looked, it was probably

[00:21:42] a skinwalker.

[00:21:45] This experience still terrifies me to this day. three bedroom in town and settled in well, at first. It didn't take long for us to start noticing some odd things happening around the house, though. The atmosphere in the house always felt a bit off. I, having been more skeptical at the time than I am now, chalked it all up to everyone just adjusting to our new, blended

[00:23:01] family in a new way of life, but it scared him too. There was a time when they were on the phone and he asked my mom where she was. She responded that she was in her room. She had

[00:24:20] been watching TV but turned it off to take his call. He said it sounded like there were I could cook, I could take care of myself just fine, and I wasn't a wild teen in the slightest, so my mom was not worried about me getting into trouble. I saw my mom off, and then locked up the house for the weekend, excited for some me time. I was sitting at the dining room table, drawing in my sketchbook.

[00:25:42] The house was empty and completely silent, when I heard a anything, or anyone in any of the rooms of the house. I checked under all of the beds in the closets and everywhere. Now, extremely unsettled, I sat in the backyard for at least an hour talking to my mom while I calmed down. The rest of my weekend was okay, albeit very tense as I was super scared.

[00:27:03] The only other time I've heard such a clear voice where I heard a voice, I was not asleep or even lying down, it was in the middle of the day. I don't have any mental disorders that would cause auditory hallucinations. I've never experienced sleep paralysis. I've had many times when I was asleep or half asleep and woke up because I swore I heard my name being called. I'm

[00:29:42] I've never been especially sensitive to any paranormal activity, but I do have two instances I wasn't frightened at all, and chose to think that our cat who had just passed just wanted one more snuggle before crossing the rainbow bridge. Now for my second story. My son passed away a year ago, on August 2, 2022.

[00:31:00] He was 30 years old, and his most prized possession was his car. This was his dream car. It was a very sporty Dodge Charger, and he was very, very proud of it. Now one thing you need to know about my son is that he had Asperger's, and was very opinionated

[00:32:21] about certain things.

[00:32:24] He loved American cars, especially fast muscle cars. immediately switched back to my phone, and the episode kept playing. I figured that I must have hit one of the buttons on the steering wheel, and then I switched the source back to the radio. Miley is still singing away, but then again, the car switched back to odd trails.

[00:33:41] Confused but not really thinking anything of it, at first.

[00:33:45] I switched the source back to the radio. I saw something when I was a kidaked out and I ran off to go look for my dogs for comfort. They were in the backyard so the sound couldn't have been them and nobody else was in the house.

[00:36:21] I often slept in the guest room. For some reason it felt safer than my own room did.

[00:39:04] But this one really shaped my, and a travel cover.

It's always a little uncomfortable and weird staying at somebody else's house when you're so young. Yeah. I remember I would just never go to the bathroom even, or like ask for the smallest thing whenever I'd stay at my friend's house.

[00:40:21] I felt like I was already causing some huge inconvenience.

[00:40:24] Even though his parents were always really nice,

[00:40:26] I just never really felt completely at ease. pair with my fish sticks and french fries for dinner when I'm watching a Arnold. And they just made me feel weird for not wanting to drink the milk at my friend's house. Not only that, it was the first time I ever had 2% milk. We always had whole milk in my house. So I was just like, what the hell is wrong with everything?

[00:41:40] And nothing is right in your house.

[00:41:44] I heard somewhere.

[00:41:45] I don't know how true it is.

[00:41:47] It sounds true. Yeah, I guess it doesn't help that I developed a mild lactose intolerance in my adult ears, which is weird because I remember both of us drinking like a gallon a day when we were in our 20s because we were trying to put on weight while lifting. Maybe I just overdid it and I screwed up my gut. Yeah, maybe. I don't know how I did that for so long or you for that matter.

[00:43:01] I've always just been so afraid of kidney stones these days, like a legitimate health

[00:43:06] concern. it's not fat. Anyways, I enjoyed the bittersweet happy haunts and the double feature stories that we got from Kim. Me too. Feeling a ghost cat on the bed seems to be a really common thing, actually. Even I've had that happen, like actually feeling one of my cats walk on me when I'm in bed trying to go to sleep and not like already asleep, but you can truly, truly change the outcome with our thoughts. So, onto Kim's second story. I've got to say, Kim, your son sounds like a raddy. Yeah. Muscle cars and classic rock. That guy was a walking and talking home depot commercial. But in the best way possible.

[00:45:47] Everybody has their tastes. by existing in the same room when that's on the TV. I hate that. I also don't like sex scenes in movies or TV either. Brody. Just feels so unnecessary and awkward. You're just waiting for this scene to be over. But I guess that's talk for a different kind of podcast, if you know what I mean. 50 Shades of Grey Alien. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:48:20] So I don't have any profound analysis to offer for Mikey's about. But I just think that even though the term UFO is literally just an unidentified flying object, it's too closely correlated with little green space people. So it needed to be rebranded before people took it more seriously. Yeah. I could, I see what you're saying.

[00:48:22] Uh, regarding Spooky's story about the voice, I really think that the move

[00:49:27] people's experiences being a manifestation of trauma, like hallucinations, to fill the void of some traumatic experience. And even if that's possible, I don't think it's fair to say that's

[00:49:33] always the case. There's never any way to know for sure. Yeah, it could just be that that trauma
